May your dreams be as serene as this beam of light falling onto an SSEI.
I love these cars far more than I should, sweet supercharged 3800 goodness.

I want one and I’m not afraid to admit it.

I had a previous gen Bonneville SSEi. It was technically my first car. God it was great for college. 30 mpg on the highway for the 5 and a half hour drive to Duluth from ND. It was supremely comfortable. It was reliable. It had great passing power. Would hit the governor at 125. It was really a great all-round, budget grand tourer that you could fill up with stuff or people or whatever you needed. And it handled snow like a champ.

I enjoyed my SSEi...may have even kept it too if the build quality wasn’t appalling. I talked to people about things falling off the car, assuming it had to do with the collision reconstruction, and every single time the other owners said “no, they all do that”.

GM really had their cheap comfort game together from like the 90s until the mid-2000s.
